Some Legal Rights Of Women & Is INDIA World's Most Dangerous Country For Women....

 Believe in the world where God's a sub worshiped and women get dammed raped,abused and kidnapped and every single day keeping a check on number of human related cases the government of India provides crucial rights for Indians women unfortunately many of domain does't grow the rights.



Every Indian women should aware of these rights.

1.THE SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WOMEN AT WORKPLACE ACT, 2013.

Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace ( Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal ) Act, 2013 to ensure women safety at workplace, this Act seeks to protect them from sexual harassment at their place of work. this Act gives a female the right to file a complaint against any kind of sexual harassment at her place of work.



2. MATERNITY BENEFIT ACT,1961.

Maternity benefit Act,1961. this Act regulates the employment of women and maternity benefits mandated by law. It states that a women employee who has work in an organisation for a period of at least 80 days during the 12 months preceding the date of her expected delivery she is entitled to receive maternity benefits, which includes maternity leave,nursing breaks, medical allowance, etc. under the new law, maternity leave is raised from current 12 weeks to 26 weeks.



3.THE PROHIBITION OF CHILD MARRIAGE ACT, 2006.

The prohibition of child marriage act, 2006. According to the International Research Centre for Women, almost 47 percent of girls are married before the age of 18.Currently, India ranks 13 in the world when it comes to child marriages. since child marriages has been steeped into the indian culture and traditional since centuries, it has been toughs eliminating it. The prohibition of child marriage act, 2006 was made effective in 2007. this act defines child marriage as a marriage where the groom or the bride are underage, that is, the bride is under 18 years of age and the boy is younger than 21 years.parents trying to marry underage girls are subject to actio under this law. since the law makes these marriages illegal, it acts as a major deterrent.



4. RIGHT TO REGISTER VIRTUAL COMPLAINTS.

The law gives women the provision for filing virtual complaints via e-mail, or writing her complaints and sending it to a police station from a registered postal address. further, the SHO sends a police constable to her place to record her complaint. this is in case a women is not in a position to physically go to a police station and file a complaint.



5.MEDICAL TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY ACT, 1971.

Medical termination of pregnancy act, 1971 the act came into effect into 1972, was amended in 1975 and 2002. the aim of the actis to reduce the occurrence of illegal abortion and consequent maternal mortality and morbidity. it clearly states the conditions under which a pregnancy can be ended or aborted and specifies the persons qualified to conduct the same.


6.NATIONAL COMMISSION ACT, 1990.

National commission for women act, 1990 the national commission for women (NCW) is a statutory body of the government of India, established in january 1992. Rekha Sharma was appointed its chairperson in 2018. The NCW represent the rights of women in india and provides a voice for their issues and concerns. the national commission for women act aims to improve the status of women and worked for their economic empowerment.


7.RIGHT TO EQUAL PAY.

Women have right to equal pay, according to the provisions listed under the equal remuneration act, one cannot be discriminated on the basis of sex when it comes to salary, pay or wages.working women have the right to draw an equal salary, as compared to men.


8.RIGHT TO DIGNITY AND DECENCY

Women have the right to dignity and decency. In an event that the accused is a women, any medical examination procedure on her must be performed by in the presence of another woman. It shall be the duty of every citizen of india to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of woman.



9.RIGHT TO KEEP THEIR IDENTITY ANONYMOUS

Female sexualassault victims have the right to keep their identity anonymous. To ensure that her privacy is protected, a women who has been sexually assaulted may record her statement alone before the district magistrate when the case is under trial, or in the presence of a female police office.


10.INDECENT REPRESENTATION OF WOMEN

Indecent representation of women (prevention) Act,1986 this act prohibits indecent representation of women through advertisement ot in publications, writings, paintings, figure or in any other manner.



Is India World's Most Dangerous Country For Women?

This survey was done by Thomas Reuters foundation, which is a charitable organisation under Thomas Reuters. If you don't know about Thomas Reuters then it's a world's biggest news network based in canada. Their main focus is on journalism about women's right, climate change and child trafficking and they carry out their researches on these subjects. This particular subject "World's most dangerous country for women" according to them is a perception poll and it's not based on any data or poll. this based on perception and perception, not of any local individual but of experts. How the experts feel about a country, what is their opinions, their perceptions about it. One things we need to keep in mind here is that if we ask the perception of commoner then it is based on his surrounding, his experience. but if you ask an expert about his perception then it's of a very higher value as an experts is working in that field, researching on facts every day about it and that creates a difference so as his perceptions and opinions are generally based on facts. So total 548 experts were surveyed out of which 41 were from india and they answered questions for ranking based on different categories like sexual violence, human trafficking, non sexual violence, human cells, 5-6 types of categories were there. based on these categories they have given the final ranking of the most dangerous country for women. 

If we are going to breakdown further in different categories the India is ranking number 1 at sexual violence, human trafficking , culture and religion against women.here it's like religious and cultural issue like child marriage or acid attacks and India is ranking number 3 at discrimination which includes discrimination against women in the daily life like in education, in job etc.India is at number 3 for non sex violence and as number 4 for health access. So all of you seen that our country INDIA is not too developing country as compared to others........ our government need to take action to increase the capability of our country.....
