1.404:Error Not Found



404 (also known as 404: Error Not Found) is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film written and directed by Prawaal Raman. It stars Imaad ShahNishikant Kamat, Rajvvir Aroraa, Tisca Chopra and Satish Kaushik in the lead roles. It is produced by Imagik Media Private Ltd. (Nameeta Nair) and was released in theaters on May 20, 2011. The movie follows a medical college student who shifts to the college hostel's room 404 where a previous medical student had committed suicide and the paranormal delusions that he begins having since then.

Story:

Professor Anirudh (Nishikant Kamath) strongly believes in science and for him, things which don’t have scientific explanation do not exist. A room in his medical institution (numbered 404) is rumoured to be haunted by the ghost of a student named Gaurav, who previously stayed in that room and had committed suicide there, which he surely doesn’t believe. A rational student Abhimanyu (Rajvvir Aroraa) now occupies that room. The seniors rag him and tell him to collect all the information about Gaurav. One day the ragging increases so much that he starts seeing visions of Gaurav. He visits Gaurav's house and brings over his stuff. He goes to Prof. Anirudh and discusses it with him to which he replies that it's just an illusion. His wife, Dr Mira, who's also a Professor at the same institute, suggests him to change his room to which Prof. Anirudh refuses and tells him to stop thinking about Gaurav. Abhimanyu starts hallucinating about Gaurav to an extent that he starts talking to him. Prof. Anirudh interviews Abhimanyu about his experience with Gaurav and how it all started. Prof. Anirudh tells Abhimanyu that ghosts don't exist to which Abimanyu disagrees and tells him that Gaurav really exists. It is later discovered that Prof. Anirudh was using him for his thesis and told the seniors to rag him. Abhimanyu finds about it and feels betrayed. Prof. Anirudh later comes to Abhimanyu and tells him about how he was doing it for a good cause. Abhimanyu tells Prof. Anirudh that he can still prove him wrong and invites him to his room and there it is seen that Abhimanyu's body is hanging from the fan and that Prof. Anirudh, himself, was talking to Abhimanyu's ghost.




2.UGLY

Ugly is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language thriller film written, co-produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap. Jointly produced by Phantom Films and DAR Motion Pictures, the film stars Rahul BhatRonit RoyTejaswini KolhapureVineet Kumar SinghGirish KulkarniSurveen Chawla and Anshika Shrivastava in the lead roles. It also features TV actor Abir Goswami in his last film appearance before his death in 2013. Told in the course of a week, Ugly follows the story of a struggling actor Rahul Varshney (Bhat), whose daughter Kali (Shrivastava) disappears, and the events that follow.

Story:

Shalini is a depressed housewife who attempts suicide, but is interrupted by her ten-year-old daughter from her first marriage, Kali. Shalini calls her husband, Police Chief Shoumik Bose, asking for money but he refuses. Her brother Siddhant tries to convince Bose to smuggle iPhones. Rahul, Shalini's first husband and Kali's biological father, takes Kali to a work assignment, where she chooses to stay in the car. While Rahul is waiting for his casting director, a mask seller tries to catch Kali's attention with children's masks. Chaitanya soon arrives and gives Rahul a film script and informs him that Kali was not in his car. The duo rush back and find her missing. Chaitanya asks the mask-seller about Kali and notices that he has her phone. The man tries to get away but is eventually killed by a car while being chased by the two. They later go to the police station to report Kali's disappearance. The local police inspector Jadhav asks Rahul why he was travelling with his daughter. Rahul says that since his divorce, he can only meet Kali on Saturdays. Two officers find the mask seller's house and ask his aunt about Kali, but she claims to know nothing.

3.Yeh Saali Aashiqui


Yeh Saali Aashiqui (transl. Damn this love) is an Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film. The film is directed by Cherag Ruparel and produced by Jayantilal Gada & Amrish Puri Films. The film stars debutantes Vardhan Puri and Shivaleeka Oberoi. The film was initially scheduled to be released on 22 November 2019. but later postponed by one week to 29 November 2019.

Story:

Three years ago, Sahil Mehra and Mittee Deora meet in hotel management college in Shimla and fall in love. Due to Sahil's broken trust, they break up. he finds Mittee cheating in exams and complains it. Mittee's friend told her that Sahil complained it. Mittee asks Sahil for a last chance after she fakes fainting in her room. Sahil develops a cold shoulder and forgives her. Mittee hurts herself and then makes a scenario as if Sahil tried to rape her and tells this to her professor. Sahil is proved mentally ill and is sent to a mental hospital. when he was actually mentally fit.

In the present, Sahil has shown improvement and wants to get out but cannot. His twin and identical brother - Surya Mehra - comes in to get some signatures from him. Sahil knocks down Surya and gets out. he starts searching for Mittee for Revenge. Mittee is now in a relation with Anuj Mathur. Then Sahil attacks her multiple times to scare her with the help of Mittee's friend Kavita. Anuj listens to her they go to the mental asylum to find Surya in it but they mistake Surya for Sahil. Anuj gets angry because of repeated sahil words from Mittee and warns her to take his name again. Sahil gets to know that Mittee and Anuj are getting engaged and will soon marry each other. He make a video and projects it on the engagement day. That video showcased how many more she cheated and their stories in their voices. Everyone gets to know about her real character and Anuj calls off the Engagement. Mittee's father gets an attack and her mother tells Mittee to go away from their life.

4.Satya 2


Satya 2 (transl. Truth 2) is a 2013 Indian crime film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film stars Puneet Singh Ratn (Hindi), Sharwanand (Telugu), Anaika Soti and Mahesh Thakur. The film tells the story of Satya, an immigrant who comes to Mumbai aiming to refashion the mumbai underworld. The film is the fourth installment of the Gangster Trilogy.

Story:

The storyline of Satya 2 is narrated by a voice (Makrand Deshpande) about the underworld whose activities have slowed down from the last decade in Mumbai (Hyderabad in Telugu version). The story is based on Satya (Puneet Singh Ratn/Sharwanand) who comes to Mumbai and starts working for Lahoti (Mahesh Thakur), a construction magnate. In trying to beat a competitor in a deal, he gets involved with the mafia and other underworld elements who don't have the clout anymore. Later, he kills RK who is the retired mafia leader and his son since his son wanted to kill Satya due to a feud between them. During this time, he gets his friend production money for a film and gets a flat and brings his girlfriend Chitra (Anaika Soti) to live there. He makes enemies all around and in a shootout with cops, loses his girlfriend and also his friend. But, even though he is captured, he is able to get out of jail through the company he creates with his connections and begins his reign as the newest underworld leader in Mumbai/Hyderabad.

5.Raman Raghav


Raman Raghav 2.0 (released internationally as Psycho Raman) is a 2016 Indian neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Anurag Kashyap. Produced by Kashyap, Vikramaditya MotwaneVikas Bahl, and Madhu Mantena, the film stars Nawazuddin SiddiquiVicky Kaushal, and debutante Sobhita Dhulipala. It depicts in eight chapters the cat and mouse chase of serial killer Ramanna (Siddiqui) by corrupt cop Raghavan (Kaushal). Real-life killer Raman Raghav, who operated in Mumbai during the 1960s, inspired the film.

Story:

In 2013, Assistant Commissioner of Police Raghavan Amrendra Singh Umbi, a drug addict, visits a Mumbai drug dealer. However, his plan to purchase drugs is foiled—the dealer and another man have been murdered. Investigating the murders the next day, he receives a hammer followed by an anonymous phone call.

In 2015, a man named Ramanna surrenders to the police and confesses to killing nine people. He is detained and beaten by the police, but manages to escape with the help of a group of boys nearby. Seeking food at the home of his sister Lakshmi, Ramanna argues with his brother-in-law. After leaving the house he quickly returns and kills the couple and their son. Raghavan is among the police who later investigate the family's murder, where he finds a picture of Ramanna with Lakshmi, confirming Ramanna's involvement in the crime.

Raghavan is in a relationship with Smrutika "Simi" Naidu, but he is an abusive partner: he beats her and has forced her to have three abortions. Ramanna surveils Raghavan and Simi, suggesting a link exists between the cop and the killer. This surveillance escalates into more murders when Ramanna stalks and kills Simi's maid and her husband. After these killings, Ramanna is caught by the police with assistance from an onlooker. However, Ramanna escapes from custody again and kills the man who aided his capture. Raghavan proves to be a killer himself when, after a trip to visit his father, he murders an African drug dealer.
